With the trade deadline just around the corner, the New York Giants may be ready to shake things up and find the final piece of the puzzle as they try to keep their grip on the top spot in the NFC East.

Standing pat has not always been a winning formula, and tinkering with the roster could help the Giants, who have a 4-2 record, get over the hump and end their three-year absence in the playoffs.

Giants coach John Harbaugh admitted that he called Tennessee Titans owner Amy Adams Strunk for a possible deal. Quite funnily, he referenced the popular song “Call Me Maybe” by Carly Rae Jepsen.

“I did, I did. I left a message. Why? Because you're turning over every stone. We're gonna try everything,” said Harbaugh in the video posted by SNY.

“To put it out there, we're open for any call. Anybody who wants to call us or call anybody, call. Is there a song? There's a song like that. Call me? Who sings that?”

The Giants reportedly targeted now-former Titans defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons. He, however, was shipped to the Chicago Bears. Titans running back Tony Pollard is also being linked to New York.

While the Giants did not land Simmons, Harbaugh acknowledged that he has enjoyed reaching out to the Titans.

“It was kind of fun to see the outpouring of interest in that. I enjoy it. We're not part of any secret-society oath that says you can only talk to somebody. We're not in that. We didn't get memoed on that. We're not in that agreement. Anybody can call us,” said Harbaugh.

Call him maybe.
