Georgia football enters into a familiar hostile territory at Ole Miss. This SEC heavyweight showdown rises as one of the marquee top 15 battles for the first Saturday of November. Georgia coach Kirby Smart once again must gameplan against Trinidad Chambliss, who ended the Bulldogs' season one year ago.

And Smart saw firsthand what makes Chambliss tick. Which he helped explain to reporters Monday.

“We can talk an hour about it,” Smart said, indicating how deep Chambliss's impact on Ole Miss really is. “He had some ‘wow' plays against us. But it's really the down in, down out decision making where he's really elite at.”

Smart added how Chambliss's accuracy, release, and decision making are three traits that make him a hard assignment.

“He's got an anticipation for windows that are possibly unmatched,” Smart added. “I don't know if that was God given, or the fact he played a lot of football before he got to Ole Miss. Throw all that in, and you've got a tremendous athlete. He's a great athlete who's a great quarterback.”

Kirby Smart has watched every game. And the highlight-reel plays aren't even what makes Trinidad Chambliss so dangerous.

Chambliss is fresh off shredding Auburn on Halloween. But Smart likely thinks back to the QB who tallied 362 passing yards during the last meeting. And that contest came with a trip to the College Football Playoff semifinals on the line. Ole Miss took advantage in stunning the Bulldogs 39-34 out in New Orleans during the Sugar Bowl.

This time Ole Miss heads inside Vaught-Hemingway Stadium as the nation's No. 12 overall team. Georgia sits at No. 2 and very much controlling its own destiny to get into the SEC title game.

So Saturday carries more than a redemption factor for the Bulldogs. But also involves crystallizing the conference championship and postseason picture.
