NFL Live is getting a new co-host added to the Wednesday broadcast.

According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, former All-Pro receiver Adam Thielen will be joining the ESPN show. Schefter announced his addition to the show on X, writing, “Former Vikings two-time Pro Bowl WR Adam Thielen is joining NFL Live every Wednesday throughout the 2026 season. Thielen makes his debut today alongside Molly McGrath, Dan Orlovsky and Andrew Hawkins.”

Fans reacted to Schefter's post with many fans curious if Thielen will stay around.

“Debut day is the easy part. Stay interesting in Week 12,” one fan commented.

One fan threw some shade at Orlovsky in the announcement: “I hope he’s getting paid well if he has to suffer Dan Orlovsky takes.”

Another fan wasn't too excited at the announcement because he wants Thielen back on the field. “Nah @athielen19 ik you got a little more in the tank come run it back one more time bro please.”

NFL Live is hosted by Laura Rutledge, with McGrath serving as the main fill-in host, Orlovsky, Mina Kimes, Marcus Spears, Peter Schrager, and Schefter who gives NFL insider updates.

Thielen played in the NFL for 13 seasons and spent a majority of his time in the league with the Minnesota Vikings who was originally signed to the team as an undrafted free agent. He spent 2013 to 2022 with the Vikings, two seasons with the Carolina Panthers (2023–2024) and ended his career playing five games with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Thielen announced his retirement in January 2026.

The former NFL wide receiver has yet to react to the news but fans are excited to see him in his new TV gig.
