Fever general manager Amber Cox followed team president Kelly Krauskopf out the door in a major shakeup of the front office on Friday.
Kraskopf resigned earlier in the day and Cox was let go hours later, with the Fever saying the franchise was announcing "the departure of Amber Cox."
The franchise wrapped up its best regular season in team history with 26 wins and went to the conference semifinals in Cox's first season in the GM role.
Indiana had three players named WNBA All-Stars and two of the league's top three scorers in Kelsey Mitchell (second) and Caitlin Clark. Mitchell is a pending free agent and said she will shop around to find the best fit for her and her family this offseason.
Mel Raines, president and CEO of Pacers Sports & Entertainment, said a national search is underway to fill the front-office spots.
"Through her two seasons with the Fever, Amber has helped us navigate the seismic growth of the WNBA and our franchise," Raines said. "We're grateful for her contributions and wish her the very best moving forward."
