Almost over a year after announcing their engagement, former WWE wrestler and current AEW star John Silver has finally tied the knot. Over a year ago, in Jun. 2025, Silver announced his engagement to Denise Liguori.

Now, on Sept. 19, 2026, the couple got married. On Saturday, Silver and Denise uploaded pictures and videos from their wedding on their social media handles. Fellow wrestler Chuck Taylor was among the guests.

“Still going through all of the photos and videos from last night, but I just had to give this a separate post because it is my FAVORITE prank I’ve ever pulled on John and I’ve never laughed harder [three laughing emojis],” wrote Liguori. She also shared another carousel of their wedding images and videos with the caption, “Best day of my life.”

Shortly after they shared the images, fellow wrestlers poured their well-wishes and congratulated the newlywed couple. While the couple got engaged last year, they have reportedly been dating each other for several years now.

Former WWE wrestler John Silver's AEW status

While a television name in AEW, Silver was not a major name during his time in WWE. Silver worked as an enhancement talent for WWE on three occasions, once in 2012, followed by 2018 and 2019.

He later joined AEW in 2019 and became a part of Brodie Lee's Dark Order. Silver has been a part of the AEW roster since then. Earlier this year, Fightful Select also reported that Evil Uno, John Silver, and Alex Reynolds have all re-signed with AEW. As of now, there is no publicly available information regarding their contract expiry.
