Dan Lanning's Oregon Ducks took on UCLA at Autzen Stadium in a game that included an interception from Dylan Raiola that had fans wishing for Dante Moore. Moore was considered a first-rounder in the latest NFL Draft projections, as the he hopes to follow in the footsteps of Ducks-turned-pros including former Carolina Panthers lineman Geoff Schwartz.
Schwartz was among those watching Lanning's team stumble to a 10-6 late third quarter deficit, calling out the Dan Lanning and Drew Mehringer-led Ducks offense.
“That was easily the worst half of offense we've played in five years under Lanning,” Schwartz said. “Raiola has looked awful. They can't find five OL. They keep rotating guys. I wish I had answers. Everyone has to play better.”

The Ducks' defense picked him up with two interceptions of Bruins quarterback Nico Iamaleava, but it wasn't enough as the offense failed to capitalize with touchdowns. UCLA had 282 total yards to 89 for the Ducks as the third quarter wound down in Eugene, Oregon, giving Schwartz and fellow Ducks fans the heebie-jeebies as another loss looked possible.
Moore continues to work his way back from concussion symptoms and his return is looking more needed than ever before. Raiola, Lanning and Merhringer continued to take heat as fans wondered whether each member of the Ducks had what it took to turn things around. UCLA is a solid team but far from a national title contender in most fans' eyes, adding to worries. Schwartz echoed what many Ducks fans felt as the game headed toward its inevitable conclusion.
