The Philadelphia 76ers successfully spoiled the New York Knicks on Right Night, but they were the ones who were on the verge of getting spoiled on their home opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Cavs raced out to a massive lead over the Sixers in the first half and went into halftime leading by a whopping 24 points.

Safe to say, Philly fans went into the break in a bad mood, and that wasn't good news for the game's halftime performance. The performer, whose act included twirling around an illuminated cube in the dark, got roundly booed by the Philly crowd.

Did they boo because they were frustrated by Philly's poor play in the first half or because they really weren't into his act, which didn't look all that entertaining based on the brief clip of it? Perhaps a little bit of both.

After their disappointing first-half showing, though, the Sixers ended up regrouping during the halftime break and they went into the second half on a mission. They outscored the Cavs 69-37 over the last two periods as they stormed to an incredible 114-106 comeback win.

Tyrese Maxey once again starred for the Sixers as he finished with a team-high 32 points with six assists. Meanwhile, Joel Embiid got the better of his matchup against Jarrett Allen by dropping 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting.

With the win, the Sixers improved to 2-0 on the season. They will look to make it three straight wins to start the season when they host the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday. Hopefully, no halftime performer's feelings will get hurt by booing fans again.
