Tyler Herro is defending himself amid claims from his ex-girlfriend, Katya Henry, who alleges he sent her “inappropriate texts.”

The Milwaukee Bucks star claims that Henry is creating “artificial drama” so that she can potentially leverage it to get financial support from him, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

He added that Henry is creating “unnecessary and irrelevant allegations” to “villainize a working [dad] that wishes to see his children.”

Relationship rumors about Herro and Henry began in 2020, and in 2025 the two began living separately. News of their split was made public last month. The former couple shares two children: a daughter named Zya, born in September 2021, and a son named Harlem, born in January 2023.

Henry claims that Herro has taken the “unreasonable and irresponsible position” to have messages about their children be conveyed through his mother.

The mom of two alleges that communication with Herro has been “incredibly disrespectful and far from courteous or formal,” according to court documents per the outlet. She claims he's been allegedly “aggressive, inappropriate and emotionally charged manner” when she does speak to him about the children.

Moving forward, Henry wants to establish some “safeguards” regarding their children moving forward and has filed for custody and support earlier this year.

She believes that his behavior is linked to his recent career change. He was traded from the Miami Heat to the Bucks back in June. Henry still resides in Miami and Herro is now living in Milwaukee.

Despite Henry's alleged observation, Herro seemingly has been getting adjusted to his new home.
