The pro-wrestling world was left shattered and in tears when the news of AEW's PAC's passing became public. The former AEW Trios Champion PAC passed away on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026, at the age of 40.

Just hours after wrestling Andrade El Idolo at AEW All Out 2026, PAC was reportedly found dead in his car. No foul play was suspected regarding his demise. Hailing from North-Eastern UK and a Newcastle local, PAC had always been an ardent supporter of the Newcastle United soccer club. A prominent English Premier League club, Newcastle United recently paid their tribute to PAC.

“Incredibly sad news. We were honoured to welcome Benjamin and his family to St. James’ Park in 2014 and we offer our deepest sympathies to them and all those who loved him. Forever a Geordie,” Newcastle United wrote on social media while responding to AEW's message.

Apart from Newcastle United, several other wrestling promotions and pro-wrestlers also paid their tribute to PAC as well as reflected on their memories together. While everyone has been visibly upset regarding the news, AEW's Eddie Kingston recently broke down while accepting PAC's passing and bawled his eyes out.

Recently, appearing live on Instagram, former AEW Continental Champion Eddie Kingston got emotional while talking about his relationship with PAC. “I’m losing all the people that believe in me. Benji [Benjamin Satterley] was one of them. Every time we would see each other, he would give me a hug, call me Bubba. I would call him Benji, and he would ask how I’m doing. I would ask how he’s doing, how his wife’s doing, and we would just talk. There’s a lot of history there with me and Benji, and when I say I’m losing all the people who believed in me, Benji was one of them,” he said.

In an almost ten-minute-long video, Kingston also reflected on several of their memories together as well as how PAC was able to understand Kingston. “It’s so f***ing sad and not fair, and that’s life. I thought I knew what to say, and I thought we were going good here, but I just got stuck. I’m lost. Everyone’s lost, but Benji, I love you. Thank you for always being there just to be a f***ing friend, dog. And you always believing in me, and I don’t understand why, but thank you so much, Benji,” he added.
