Everyone knows that Eli Manning and Tom Brady are rivals, but actress Kate Hudson added a different debate to their longstanding rivalry.

Hudsoon, a diehard Denver Broncos fan, appeared on the ManningCast during the Kansas City Chiefs' win over the Broncos. Manning played an old clip from 2008, during which she called Brady the “handsome, kind of strapping-type,” while Manning was the “bring home to mom-type.” He wanted to know how she felt on the topic almost two decades later.

“You implied that I'm not handsome or strapping,” he said, which his big brother Peyton Manning agreed with. “Can I assume that you were just acting right here? This is one of your great acting moments?”

Hudson stood by her take, stating the importance of differentiating the two star quarterbacks. She explained, “I felt like it was very important to really differentiate you guys, you know? I typecasted you guys.”

While Manning might be a “bring home to mom-type” guy, Hudson comforted him by saying, “You don't bring home to mom someone who's not handsome, Eli.”

Manning and Brady's stories will always be connected. The two squared off five times in their careers, with Manning taking both Super Bowl matchups, and Brady winning two of the three regular season games.

They first met in Week 17 of the 2007 NFL season. The Patriots were undefeated, while the Giants were 10-5. New York put up a fight, only losing by three points. Manning threw four touchdowns in the contest.

A couple of months later, Manning would get his revenge, beating Brady and the Patriots in the Super Bowl. This brought an end to the Patriots' undefeated season — they were 18-0 heading into the game.

Four years later, they would meet again in the Super Bowl. The Giants once again won, thanks to Manning's late-game heroics. He had also beaten the Patriots earlier in the regular season.
