The Philadelphia Eagles are scheduled to take on the New York Giants on Sunday for a Week 9 NFC East clash. However, Philly is dealing with a string of injury woes, as the latest report reveals the statuses for Saquon Barkley, DeVonta Smith, and Dontayvion Wicks, amongst others.

It's said that Barkley is good to go for the contest against the Giants. Meanwhile, both Smith and Wicks have been ruled out. The Eagles' injury report reveals six total players have been ruled out, while one is questionable. 13 players are deemed available, which includes the 29-year-old running back.

Barkley has been dealing with hamstring and back issues through much of the 2026-27 campaign. However, the nine-year veteran has still managed to play in six of the Eagles' eight games heading into Week 9. It's been a bit of a down year for him and the offense in general, as Barkley has rushed for 274 yards and two touchdowns on 56 attempts in his six appearances.

Smith, on the other hand, is dealing with a hamstring injury. He hasn't played since the 25-14 Week 6 loss to the Carolina Panthers. With A.J. Brown out of the picture, the hope was for Smith to step up as the WR1 in Philadelphia. But in four games played so far this season, the six-year veteran has recorded 26 receptions for 310 yards and two touchdowns. His 77.5 yards-per-game average is the highest in his career.

Meanwhile, Wicks is ruled out with an ankle injury. His last performance was also against the Panthers, however, the newly acquired wideout has appeared in six games instead of four. He'll sit out Week 9 with a 19-reception, 284-yard, and one-touchdown statline.
