The Philadelphia Eagles are stumbling. However, Robert Griffin III does not believe Jalen Hurts or Nick Sirianni deserve the blame. Following back-to-back losses that dropped Philadelphia to 2-2, Griffin pushed back against mounting criticism of the quarterback and head coach. Instead. he directed the spotlight toward first-year offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.
The Philadelphia Eagles have problems, but people need to STOP BLAMING JALEN HURTS AND NICK SIRIANNI.
You should be mad at First-year offensive coordinator Sean Mannion.

After the Eagles blew a 10-point lead in a 24–20 loss to the Los Angeles Rams, Griffin wrote that fans “need to STOP BLAMING JALEN HURTS AND NICK SIRIANNI.” Griffin argued that Mannion must answer for Philadelphia’s offensive struggles.
The numbers make his case difficult to ignore. Through four games, the Eagles rank last in the NFL in second-half points, total yards, yards per play, and EPA. They have averaged only five points after halftime. Philadelphia has recorded just 12 second-half first downs all season, including only three in third quarters. The Eagles also went 0-for-12 on third down against Los Angeles. They have now failed to convert 17 consecutive third downs over their past two games.
“Zero adjustments are being made,” Griffin concluded. “Sean Mannion has to be better.”

The Eagles opened 2026 with narrow victories over Washington and Tennessee before their offense collapsed in a 27-7 loss to Chicago. The Rams then exposed the same second-half issues. Meanwhile, injuries to Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, and Jonathan Greenard have complicated matters defensively. With Hurts and Saquon Barkley still searching for offensive rhythm, Philadelphia urgently needs answers before its promising season slips away.
