The Philadelphia Eagles have had their season ravaged by injuries in 2026, and they are on the verge of falling to 2-4 as a result. The Eagles' running back room has been especially banged up. Saquon Barkley, Tank Bigsby and Will Shipley all missed Sunday's game against the Carolina Panthers.
As a result, the Eagles entered Week 6 with Dameon Pierce and Carson Steele as their top two running backs, but even that didn't last long. Steele suffered a shoulder injury that kept him out for the rest of the game, via Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
Later in the game, the injury bug shifted back to the Philadelphia defense. Standout defensive tackle Jordan Davis went down with an ankle injury and did not return to the game, per the CBS broadcast.
