Hurts finally opened up about his harrowing experience after the game during which he spoke to media in comments posted by Eagles beat writer EJ Smith.
“Just went through my normal evaluation, you know, that I needed to do the standard, SOP (standard operating procedure).”
Hurts watched Dalton's interception on the big screen after getting screened. He said that he did not have his results at that point in time.
“I don't know the extent of the process, obviously I wish that I could expedite things, I know I felt fine,” Hurts said about the situation.
The Eagles lost one fumble and threw two interceptions combined between Dalton and Hurts in a losing effort. The Eagles' sloppy, turnover-prone performance caused star receiver Devonta Smith to slap his teammates with a truth bomb after the game that was impossible to ignore.
The Eagles are 2-1 and hope is far from lost for another Super Bowl run, but they look like a far more beatable team when Hurts and his backup are throwing interceptions.
