Chicago Bears quarterback Case Keenum credited head coach Ben Johnson after the Bears’ 27-7 Monday Night Football win over the Philadelphia Eagles, praising the play-caller for putting him in position to succeed.
Keenum made his first regular-season start since December 24, 2023, with Caleb Williams sidelined by a hamstring injury and Tyson Bagent serving as the backup. The 38-year-old completed 24 of 34 passes for 247 yards and two touchdowns, added a 1-yard rushing score and committed no turnovers.
SportsCenter shared a postgame clip on X, formerly Twitter, of Keenum speaking with Scott Van Pelt after the victory. Keenum reflected on the moment while giving Johnson credit for an offense that kept the Eagles defense off balance.
