Eagles’ Jalen Hurts leaves MNF Bears game with injury concerns after huge hit

A big concern surfaced for the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday after quarterback Jalen Hurts had to go to the medical tent after taking a huge hit against the Chicago Bears.

Hurts was trying to go out of bounds in the second quarter when linebacker D'Marco Jackson gave him a late hit. The former Super Bowl MVP looked like he was in pain as he fell to the ground at Soldier Field.

Fortunately for Hurts, he was not ruled out of the contest, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

“Eagles QB Jalen Hurts was evaluated for a concussion and cleared to return,” reported Schefter on X.

As of this writing, the Eagles are trailing the Bears in the second quarter.

Hurts is 5-of-7 for 46 yards.
