Dwight Howard and Amy Luciani might be working out their relationship following the NBA star filing for divorce for the second time.
The two sparked reconciliation rumors following Luciani's latest post showing off her vacation to Tokyo, Japan. In the Instagram post, the former reality star showed off her pink Chanel bag, herself lounging by the pool, a table filled with breakfast food, a skyline view of Tokyo, and more.
The NBA champion did not appear in the video or photos, but the comment section and Luciani's reaction implied that the couple might be trying to work things out.
“As your mother, all I have ever wanted is for you to be happy, loved, and at peace,” Luciani's mother wrote in the comment section. “Marriage isn’t perfect, people aren’t perfect, and sometimes pain makes us react from a place we later wish we hadn’t. What matters is that you both found your way back to each other, chose forgiveness, and chose your marriage. You don’t owe the world perfection. Live, learn, love, and protect what you’ve chosen to rebuild. I love you, and I’m always in your corner.”

The alleged rekindling follows Howard filing for divorce for the second time in March — he previously filed in June 2025 and Luciani filing in July 2025. They both retracted the originial divorce filings and decided to rekindle their relationship.
Luciani claimed that Howard was allegedly using drugs which he denied and ultimately followed him following for divorce. Howard claimed that she had threatened him with “a knife, gun, or other deadly weapon” and was ordered to stay 100 feet away from the NBA champion and his children from previous relationships.
He has not spoken out following rumors of them potentially rekindling their romance.
