Oklahoma State football is witnessing quarterback Drew Mestemaker rearrange the projected NFL Draft order. Now Mestemaker hit a wild feat in the 66-28 trouncing of Kansas State Saturday.
Which hasn't been seen in 30 years for the Cowboys and college football in general.
Mestemaker pulled off this rare hat trick: Threw a passing touchdown, rushed for another and caught a TD pass. ESPN Insights revealed the new mark he achieved.
“Drew Mestemaker is the only power conference player over the last 30 seasons with four Pass TDs, a Rush TD and a receiving TD in a road game,” the account posted on the social media website X, formerly known as Twitter.
The rare receiving touchdown came with the contest already out of reach in Manhattan, Kansas.

So coach Eric Morris knows how to unlock Mestemaker, even outside of sitting in the pocket and letting it rip. Mestemaker is turning heads with his mix of high-powered arm strength, efficient passing, but also delivering a knack for big plays with his feet. The Cowboys gained a rare dual-threat dynamo behind center via the transfer portal.
And he's starring at a school that produced pocket passers who garnered first round attention in Brandon Weeden. Plus also produced third rounder Mason Rudolph. Yet Mestermaker is helping galvanize a fanbase that had grown restless from the longtime Mike Gundy regime.
Morris now has Oklahoma State bowl eligible again, a first since their Texas Bowl appearance in the 2023 season. Only this time the North Texas QB transfer Mestermaker is becoming the toast of Stillwater.
