The Atlanta Dream secured home-court advantage in the first round of the playoffs after blowing out the New York Liberty, 83-65, at Barclays Center on Wednesday.
The Dream finished the regular season with a 30-14 record to claim the No. 4 seed and put it out of reach for the Indiana Fever.
Atlanta tallied its best record in franchise history and topped the Eastern Conference for the first time.

Allisha Gray led the charge against the Liberty with a game-high 24 points, including 4-of-7 three-pointers, four rebounds, five assists, and three steals. Naz Hillmon added 16 points and four rebounds, while Jordin Canada chipped in 12 points and five assists.
Article Continues BelowThe Dream bucked the early exit of Angel Reese, who got hit in the face with an accidental elbow from Sabrina Ionescu in the first half. Reese finished with six points, six rebounds, three assists, and three steals in 17 minutes.
It was practically a must-win game for Atlanta to avoid complications with Indiana for the No. 4 seed. The Fever will close out the regular season against the Minnesota Lynx on Thursday. They could drop to the No. 6 seed if they lose to the Lynx and the Washington Mystics defeat the Chicago Sky.
The Dream had 25 assists and led by as much as 20 points. They scored 15 points off the Liberty's 20 turnovers.
New York played without Breanna Stewart due to a knee injury and lost Jonquel Jones in the third quarter due to an ankle injury.
The Dream will look to end their three-year losing streak in the first round of the playoffs.
