Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. knows what critics are saying online about his sluggish start to the 2026 NFL season. But the former No. 4 overall draft pick isn't letting the social media chatter disrupt his routine.

Through the first two weeks of the schedule, Harrison has hauled in just one reception for 33 yards on four total targets. His quietest outing came in Week 2's humbling 31-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks, where quarterback Jacoby Brissett targeted him only once, and Harrison finished without a single catch. That followed a Week 1 matchup against the Los Angeles Chargers, where he recorded his lone 33-yard catch on three targets in a 26-14 victory.

With viral video clips questioning his route running and blocking effort, Harrison addressed the mounting outside noise head-on. “I see everything [on social media]. I'm not gonna sit here and say I don't see nothing,” Harrison said. “You get told to block out the noise and pay attention to it….. Everybody is entitled to their own opinions.”

Rather than allowing outside commentary to dictate his mindset, the receiver remains locked into his daily work. “Stick to my process. Don't change anything I've been doing,” Harrison added. “Continue to work hard day in and day out. That's the best you can do in this situation.” Cardinals head coach Mike LaFleur and Brissett both rallied behind the young wideout.

LaFleur attributed the lack of downfield targets against Seattle to offensive line breakdowns that prevented deeper routes from developing. Meanwhile, Brissett took accountability for getting Harrison the football, reassuring media members that nobody in Arizona's locker room has lost faith in the talented playmaker. Narratives shift quickly in the NFL, and one big game can change everything. If the Cardinals fix their protection issues and get Harrison involved downfield, the online noise will fade fast.
