The Atlanta Dream forced a decisive Game 7 in the WNBA Finals against the Golden State Valkyries after a dominant Game 6 win. As she has all series, though, Jordin Canada was unable to have much of an impact on offense as she struggled with her shot. She finished with just 10 points on 4-of-13 shooting.

However, Canada has come up big with the championship on the line. Per Alexa Philippou, she has already scored 16 points to set a new WNBA Finals career-high in Game 7. What's more impressive is that she only needed three quarters to do so.

Canada's previous high-scoring game in the series was 13 points in Game 2. But she also had a rough shooting performance in that game too, going only 3-of-14 from the field. These performances have been quite a departure from Canada's outstanding series against the New York Liberty, where she averaged 22.3 points and shot over 60 percent to lead the Dream to a sweep.

Canada's offensive resurgence has come at just the right time for the Dream, whose other stars haven't quite been on their game in Game 7. No one other than Canada has yet to hit double-digits. After an early 3-pointer, star Angel Reese has just seven points along with 10 rebounds. Allisha Gray, who exploded for 23 big points in Game 6, has also been unable to get going.

Game 7 has turned into a battle between Canada and Gabby Williams, who is leading the Valkyries with 17 points. Thanks to a 21-14 third-quarter, the Valkyries have erased their halftime deficit to lead the Dream 45-44 heading into the decisive fourth quarter.
