Angel Reese put on a show in Game 2 of the 2026 WNBA Finals on Monday.

The Atlanta Dream forward had a night against the Golden State Valkyries at Chase Center in San Francisco to help her team tie the series at 1-1.

Reese also made history with her strong performance in the 79-65win over the Valkyries.

With her 30 points and 16 rebounds, the former LSU Tigers women's basketball star set a new WNBA record for being the youngest ever in league history to score at least 20 points and grab no fewer than 10 rebounds in a Finals game, according to StatMuse on X, formerly Twitter.

Reese and the Dream clearly knew how difficult it would be to be 2-0 down against a talented team like Golden State, and they made sure that won't be the case, as they asserted themselves in Game 2. Atlanta made a living from the foul line, where they went 30-for-35, while Golden State was only 16-for-19 from the charity stripe. Moreover, the Dream scored 24 points off Golden State's 19 turnovers.

Reese, who posted 14 points and 12 boards in Game 1, shot 10-for-16 from the floor in Game 2, and even flexed her range by draining her only attempt from behind the arc. She added three assists, two blocks and a steal in 34 minutes of action.
