The Atlanta Dream were defeated in Game 7 of the WNBA Finals by the Golden State Valkyries, and now they'll be looking to find a way to improve this offseason. They may not need to make many changes to how the team is currently constructed, as there's a key piece that wasn't able to play that many games this season.
After the game, Jordin Canada and Angel Reese name-dropped the key factor, and it was Brionna Jones.
“I’m looking forward to another year under Karl and his development, and his system and just still figuring it out and having Bri back will be great, too,” Reese said.
“Adding Bri will also help as well, another body and another dominant force in the paint,” Canada said. “I'm excited [about] this group. We're going to be together for a couple of years. So, like I said, we'll be back. This is not the end of us.

She returned for nine games, but then suffered another injury that led her to miss the rest of the season. The Dream knows how much of an impact Jones can make when she's on the court, especially with how she played two seasons ago.
Jones brings a physical presence in the frontcourt and can also step out and shoot from the perimeter. Against a player like Kiah Stokes, Jones would've been a good matchup and could've helped out Reese in certain situations during the series. They'll also have Madina Okot going into her second year in the league, and her growth on the court could be an even bigger factor toward the Dream's success in the future.
