The Atlanta Dream will host WNBA Finals Game 6 at State Farm Arena on Thursday, giving fans another opportunity to watch the franchise pursue its first championship.

The Dream and the Golden State Valkyries head into Monday’s Game 5 tied 2-2, ensuring the series will return to Georgia. Thursday’s matchup tips off at 12:30 p.m. ET, with the winner of Game 5 carrying a chance to clinch the title.

Tickets went on sale Monday at 4 p.m. ET, three days before the teams return to Atlanta.

ESPN’s Alexa Philippou highlighted the initial demand Monday on X, formerly Twitter, sharing figures from the Dream on ticket sales during the first 90 minutes and State Farm Arena’s capacity.

“According to the Dream, 10,000 tickets were sold in the first hour and a half of ticket sales for Game 6. Total capacity for State Farm Arena is about 17,000”

The afternoon tipoff resolves a scheduling conflict with the Atlanta Hawks, who will host the Cleveland Cavaliers at the same downtown venue Thursday night.

The WNBA moved Game 6 from its original 8 p.m. ET start, while the Hawks pushed their game from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. The arrangement keeps the WNBA Finals at State Farm Arena instead of Gateway Center Arena in College Park, the Dream’s roughly 3,500-seat regular-season home.

A Dream spokesperson said the team will open the arena’s full capacity despite the three-day turnaround.

Atlanta sold out both of its earlier Finals games at State Farm Arena and five of its six regular-season appearances there. The franchise will move into the building full time in 2027.

The Dream seek their first championship in their first Finals appearance since 2013. Monday’s Game 5 tips off at 8 p.m. ET at Chase Center on USA Network and Peacock, with Thursday’s return to Atlanta already secured.
