It sounds like the upcoming Week 6 game between the NFL's Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh Steelers may be attended by President Donald Trump, who has been making the rounds as of late.
Just a couple of weeks after attending the Tennessee-Texas college football game, the president is reportedly planning on making the trip to Tampa to watch the Bucs' next game.
CNN Senior White House Correspondent Kristen Holmes reported that Trump is “expected to attend” the Buccaneers' upcoming game at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, Oct. 18.
He was last at a Steelers game almost two years ago during the 2024 season when they played the New York Jets. Ironically, Aaron Rodgers was on the Jets at the time.
The upcoming Week 6 matchup is crucial for both teams. The Buccaneers are coming off their first win of the season, beating the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football. They did that with undrafted rookie quarterback Jalon Daniels under center. He filled in for the injured Baker Mayfield. If the Bucs want to make a run for the division, they have to win this one.
The Steelers, meanwhile, rebounded after a close loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 4. They beat the Indianapolis Colts 34-22 in Week 5.

Trump has been making the rounds to various sports this year. He infamously attended the New York Knicks' only loss to the San Antonio Spurs in the NBA Finals in June 2026. Luckily, the Knicks won the next two games to win their first championship in 53 years. The Bucs are hoping that he doesn't bring the same result to their home game against the Steelers on Sunday.
