Before leading his team to an Opening Night win against the New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers star LeBron James caused a stir by practicing his golf swing during the National Anthem, and President Donald Trump is demanding an apology.
He took to his Truth Social account to voice his displeasure with the 24-year veteran. Trump called James a “total disgrace,” saying he “should apologize” for his actions.
“While listening to our National Anthem, LeBron James disrespects our Country! I said right from the beginning that he’s no good, a TOTAL DISGRACE,” Trump wrote. “LeBron James should apologize to all of those Great American Warriors and Heroes who died for the American Flag, and all that our Country stands for!”
