The Los Angeles Dodgers face a daunting task they haven't experienced in a while. On Monday, they fell 2-0 in the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers after a 7-4 loss.

The highly talented Dodgers are on the verge of an abrupt end to their 2-year championship reign. Given that obvious vulnerability, ticket sales for Game 3 at Dodger Stadium on Wednesday fell off a cliff, per Bob Nightengale of USA Today.

According to TickPick, Game 3 tickets plummeted by 40%. As a result, get-in prices are $91, and Game 4 tickets are $92.

The Dodgers are in a very vulnerable period, despite being a dominant team. A major reason is their lack of offense against the Brewers, especially in Game 2.

They managed only 3 hits, compared to the Brewers' 12. Shohei Ohtani, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith, Max Muncy, Teoscar Hernandez, and other top players went hitless.

As a result, the Dodgers relinquished a 4-3 lead in the 5th inning. The Brewers scored 4 additional runs to run away with the victory.

Meanwhile, Ohtani has struggled at the plate. Overall, he is batting .150 in the postseason with 3 hits, but no home runs and no RBIs. A far cry from the MVP numbers he has put up over the last few years. That, combined with Ohtani battling injuries that kept him out of the rotation, is a big factor.

In essence, the Dodgers don't look or feel the same. However, they still have a chance to climb back now that they are playing at home.

Game 3 of the NLCS is scheduled for 5:00 pm PST/7:00 pm CST/8:00 pm EST.
