The Arizona Diamondbacks are keeping Torey Lovullo in the dugout after another season ended just short of the playoffs. Rather than making a managerial change, the organization is giving him another opportunity to lead the team back to October.

Lovullo will return on a two-year deal, according to Nick Piecoro, aligning his contract with general manager Mike Hazen’s. The club plans to hold a press conference later Thursday to discuss the decision.
