The Baltimore Ravens have been floundering as of late, currently sitting at 4-3 and desperately hoping for the return of injured star quarterback Lamar Jackson. The Ravens were recently outscored 35-0 in the second half of a blowout loss at home to the Cincinnati Bengals, considerably worsening the early-season vibes in Baltimore.

Now, some of the Ravens' veteran leaders are speaking out amid the team's rough patch.

“Myself, I pride myself on being one of the leaders of this team, one of the vets, and I haven't been doing a good enough job as far as leading…” said running back Derrick Henry, per Brian Wacker of the Baltimore Sun on X, formerly Twitter. “…somebody has to bring that spark, whether it's speaking or out there on the field.”

Offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley also spoke on a meeting that took place after the Bengals debacle.

“A couple of us, we met together after the game… we talked about it ourselves, just seeing the kind of energy we had on the sideline when things aren't going our way. It's something that needs to change,” he said, per Jamison Hensley of ESPN on X.

Indeed, the vibes on the sideline during the second half of Sunday's blowout loss were not exactly immaculate, as the Ravens fell to within one game of the .500 mark amid another ugly performance from the Jackson-less offense.
