The Kansas City Chiefs are 5-0 on the season after dismantling the Los Angeles Chargers 22-6 in Week 6. Running back Kenneth Walker III has seemingly been a difference-maker for the offense after signing a three-year, $43.05 million contract with the club. His performances have been so great that Dan Orlovsky is ready to declare Walker this year's NFL MVP over Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

During a guest appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” Orlovsky confidently claimed that through the first six weeks of the 2026-27 campaign, he would vote for the 25-year-old ball carrier as this season's MVP. This year's odds through six weeks of play flashed on the screen, showing that Josh Allen is currently DraftKings' betting favorite for the award.

“He's the MVP of the NFL right now,” Orlovsky said… “If MVP voting was happening today, I would vote for Kenneth Walker.”

Through five games played this season, the five-year veteran is playing as one of the best running backs in the league. The Chiefs offense appears to be somewhat unlocked, as the team is able to control their games with an efficient rushing attack. Combine that with Patrick Mahomes' ability to play quarterback and Andy Reid's unique play calling, and you have a dangerous offense for any opponent.

Kenneth Walker III will have an opportunity to carry the momentum into Week 7 when he faces off against his former team, the Seattle Seahawks. The Chiefs will be on the road for what could be a thrilling “Sunday Night Football” showdown.
