Field Yates believes the Dallas Cowboys will be fine
When it comes to the Dallas Cowboys there is either ecstacy or chaos.
If the team is rolling then life is wonderful. Sunshine covers us all.
If the team is down in the dumps… you better stay way, way, way out of the picture.
Given that the Cowboys have only been above .500 once in Brian Schottenheimer’s reign, this is currently his second season, there has been a lot of moments for overall chaos to unfold. The team keeps teasing people with the idea that they maybe, might someday be good… and then they do something like get destroyed by a winless Tampa Bay Buccaneers team in front of the whole world.
Evaluation a team with that level of polarity can be difficult. Thankfully I recently had a chance to sit down with someone who is objectively-grounded in ESPN’s Field Yates, this conversation took place before that game to be clear, and among everything we talked about he shared that he believes the Cowboys will ultimately be fine.
Among the things discussed with Field was his recent partnership with Red Baron. He and I are both fathers to young children and believe me when I tell you that Red Baron’s new 5-minute Crunchtime pizza is a huge win.
Field and Red Baron even have a bit of a contest going and if you enter you can line yourself up to receive fantasy football advice from him.
Fans can enter at www.redbaron.com/fieldaccess from October 6 through October 20, 2026 for a chance to get Yates on the line before their season goes up in flames. Five winners will receive weekly 1:1 sessions with Yates, beginning Week 9 of the fantasy season through the Week 14 regular season finale to ensure their squads are set for a championship run through the playoffs.
Even fans who aren’t selected for the “FIELD ACCESS” grand prize can still walk away winners: 10,000 entrants will take home a free RED BARON® CRUNCHTIME™ pizza to enjoy while watching games.
Maybe the Dallas Cowboys should enter themselves and ask for help given what happened against the Buccaneers, or maybe they’ll be fine as Field noted.
We will see.
