Jamaica Kingsmen (JK) lock horns with Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) in Qualifier 2 of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026 at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados, on Saturday, September 19.
Rovman Powell's Jamaica Kingsmen registered four wins and six defeats after playing 10 matches in the group stage. In the Eliminator, they made light work of Barbados Tridents, chasing down a 145-run target in just 14.1 overs with nine wickets to spare.
Meanwhile, Imran Tahir-led Guyana Amazon Warriors finished at the top of the points table, having won eight matches in 10 while losing two. In Qualifier 1, the Warriors were squashed by Antigua and Barbuda Falcons. The former were dismissed for 76, and the Falcons chased the total in 5.2 overs, with nine wickets in the bank.
Earlier in the tournament, the Warriors and Kingsmen faced each other twice. The former won both games by sixand eight wickets, respectively.
