Cowboys safety Malik Hooker left Sunday nightâÂÂs loss to the Giants with a forearm injury and it remains unclear when he might be able to return to the lineup.
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer said after the game that Hooker might have fractured his forearm and Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that tests show that is the case. Hooker is speaking to specialists about the specific bone that was fractured in order to determine a recovery timeline.
Per the report, some forearm fractures can keep players out for six weeks but the hope is that Hooker will be able to make a quicker return to action.
Hooker had one tackle before leaving SundayâÂÂs game. Jalen Thompson, Caleb Downs, and P.J. Locke were the other safeties to see playing time for Dallas.
