The Cowboys won’t have Dee Winters this week after the linebacker strained his Achilles in the loss to the Packers. But they will have linebacker DeMarvion Overshown back this week.
Overshown expects to return for Monday night’s game against the Eagles after missing five games due to a hamstring injury.
“I’ve definitely taken this rehab, this recovery, very serious,” Overshown said, via Jon Machota of TheAthletic.com. “I’ve been trying to get back on the field since the week after I got out, so getting this opportunity to go this week, I’m thankful that I’m still able to get to do what I love.”
Overshown seems likely to wear the green dot in his return.
Overshown has played 20 games and missed 38 with injuries in his four seasons. He has totaled 125 tackles, five sacks, one interception, four passes defensed and one forced fumble.
