Thursday Night Football can be both devastating and sobering. Look no further than the NFC matchup between the Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Four days after posting 17 receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown versus the Houston Texans, CeeDee Lamb recorded two catches for nine yards and suffered a quad injury, per ESPN NFL Nation's Todd Archer.
The Cowboys' defense remains a serious concern, as they surrendered 145 rushing yards to Bucky Irving Jr. in a 24-16 loss, so they cannot afford to lose a core member of their offense. Lamb did reenter the game for an unsuccessful two-point conversion attempt, but he was limping around the sidelines and was unavailable for Dallas' ill-fated final drive.
