The Dallas Cowboys have lost their last two games, and they have a chance to get back into the win column this week against the Philadelphia Eagles. Their struggles have come from both sides of the ball, but the most surprising area is the offense. When looking at the talent, they should be scoring easily, but it just hasn't resulted in that recently.
Head coach Brian Schottenheimer still believes in his group and his own playcalling, and thinks they can get back to being an explosive offense.
“I have incredible confidence in our offense. We have not played well the last two weeks; we understand a lot of the reasons why and addressed a lot of the reasons why. We haven't changed who we are. We're still a good, explosive offense with weapons… I haven't lost the ability to call plays. I'm an elite play caller in this league, and I think that can turn around quickly,” Schottenheimer said via 105.3 The Fan.
Schottenheimer was also asked if he ever planned on giving up playcalling duties.
“No, absolutely not,” Schottenheimer said.
It looks like all areas have to get better, and though it starts with Schottenheimer, the players have to follow suit. He recently noted during the week that players like George Pickens have to do the dirty work for them.

“That’s part of the team-first mindset, and GP does understand that. When he’s going, they’re going to play soft inside. When he’s not going, then the safeties get pretty good runs at our backs. And that’s got to improve.”
