There were not many good things that the Green Bay Packers could take away from their Week 1 loss against the Minnesota Vikings. Some of the same problems they dealt with last season came back to haunt them, one of them being falling apart in the fourth quarter. The Vikings were able to run away with the game, scoring 22 points in the fourth, while the Packers went scoreless.

It wasn't all bad for the Packers, as they were able to get Tucker Kraft back on the field for the first time since he tore his ACL last season. Kraft looked solid in his return, finishing with three receptions for 65 yards. There were other tight ends around the league who had better statlines, but Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated sees something special in Kraft.

“Good on the Packers for getting Tucker Kraft signed long term. He’s just scratching the surface of where he can go. Barring bumps coming back from the torn ACL, he could well be the NFL’s best tight end by the end of the year,” Breer wrote.

There was an argument that before Kraft went down with his injury last season, he was the best tight end in the league. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him get back to that level at some point this season, but the Packers won't rush the process. They already know what he's capable of, which is why they signed him to an extension before the season.

It'll be interesting to see what he does this season, but the offense is going to have to play better as a whole if they want to win games.

The first thing they have to do is execute better in the fourth quarter, because in the first three quarters, they always look good.
