Jayden Daniels and the Washington Commanders missed a big opportunity to get a key win over the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon. They made crucial errors in the overtime game that even NBA legend Magic Johnson chimed in with his thoughts.

Both teams traded blows throughout the course of the game as they were even at 27 apiece. They needed an overtime period, but a game-winning drive didn't come to fruition for either side as both settled for the tie.

However, Washington had a major chance to win the game by kicking a field goal. Time management became the reason for their failure to go for the victory as they ran out of time and couldn't put together a field goal in time.

Many Washington fans went feral over the mismanagement. Even Johnson himself was critical of the game management down the stretch by the Commanders squad.

“I’m in total disbelief my Commanders had such poor clock management in today’s overtime game against the Giants. All we had to do was kick the field goal and we would have won the game!🤦🏾‍♂️,” Johnson wrote on social media.
