Coach Shane Steichen's Colts are 2-4 on the season after losing 26-20 to Tennessee in a game that saw Robert Saleh get his first win as Titans head coach, while making life hell on Daniel Jones. Jones, the Colts' starting QB, got a Tyler Warren injury update before the game that ended up as worst-case scenario as the key tight end didn't play.

The day got progressively worse from there as the Colts' starter was sacked six times against Saleh's team. The Colts piled up 399 yards of total offense but it wasn't enough to get a win. Steichen addressed the QB situation amid speculation that Anthony Richardson might get a shot in Week 7, as shared by NFL on ESPN.

“I think he knows he's gotta play better, I've gotta coach better, there's a lot of things, it's not on one guy, but we've gotta do a lot of things better…Yes, he's our starting quarterback,” Steichen replied when pressed further on the matter.

Jones had 269 yards passing and a touchdown but also turned the ball over twice, throwing two interceptions as he let the pressure of the rush get to him. Jonathan Taylor helped the offense with 94 yards and a touchdown on the ground, but the Titans piled up four field goals from Joey Slye in their huge road victory. A Sauce Gardner injury further complicated matters for the Colts.

October 25 looks like a defensive battle brewing on the road against Minnesota, which could force Steichen to drill home a message of ball security with Jones expected to start again. The Vikings' defense will be a step up from the Titans', now it's up to Jones and his teammates to respond.
