INDIANAPOLIS -- Tennessee Titans cornerback Alontae Taylor is inactive for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts, with a team source telling ESPN it's a coach's decision and not injury-related.

Taylor played 99.7% of the defensive snaps in the Titans' first five games of the season. He signed a three-year, $58 million contract ($42 million guaranteed) in March and has 19 tackles and one sack.

Tennessee (0-5) revamped its secondary by adding Taylor and signing free agent cornerback Cor'Dale Flott to a three-year, $45 million deal.

Fellow veteran free agent addition Josh Williams, who signed a two-year, $8 million contract in March, will start in Taylor's place after being activated from injured reserve Saturday. Cornerback Isaiah Oliver was given the game-day elevation from the practice squad.

Tennessee's secondary has only two interceptions this season and the cornerback group has yet to record a pass breakup. The Titans also will be without starting safety Kevin Winston Jr. due to a quad injury against the Colts.

Titans starting defensive tackle Jordan Elliott is inactive. Elliott missed Friday's practice due to personal reasons and didn't travel with the team.
