The Sunday slate of Week 7 games got out to a fast start but quickly cooled off, as it wasn’t a super high-scoring week of football. Upsets were aplenty, though, as there is plenty of movement in the Week 8 NFL Power Rankings.
Check out ClutchPoints’ Week 8 NFL Power Rankings to see where your team lands.
1. Minnesota Vikings (+5)

The Minnesota Vikings continue to put together a strong start this year, as their 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts came on the back of a 10-point fourth quarter. It wasn’t a strong offensive showing from Minnesota, but three field goals from Will Reichard and a fourth-quarter TD from TJ Hockenson was just enough.
Defensively, Brian Flores’ unit harassed the Colts all game, racking up four sacks, an interception, and only allowed 218 total yards of offense in the win. As the only undefeated team remaining in the NFL, Minnesota moves into the top spot in the Week 8 NFL Power Rankings.
2. Buffalo Bills (Bye Week)
The Buffalo Bills had Week 7 off, as they hold onto their spot atop the AFC East. Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense will have to get right back on the horse in Week 8, as they will host Baltimore in what likely will be Lamar Jackson’s first game back from injury.
3. Chicago Bears (+2)
The Week 7 win for the Chicago Bears also marked the second consecutive game of 300+ passing yards for Caleb Williams, as he has looked good ever since coming back from injury. Williams threw for 308 yards and two touchdowns in the win, and 90 total yards (78 rushing) from D’Andre Swift helped elevate the Bears to their fifth win on the year.
4. Jacksonville Jaguars (Bye Week)
The Jacksonville Jaguars got to spend Week 7 on the sidelines, as they were on bye. The Liam Coen-led offense has been running on all cylinders the past few weeks, and a Week 8 home matchup with the Colts awaits Trevor Lawrence and company.
5. San Francisco 49ers (-4)
It’s safe to say that Week 7 did not go according to plan for the San Francisco 49ers, as their road loss to the Atlanta Falcons was an avoidable one. After a dominant first drive of the game that saw Christian McCaffrey find the end zone and account for all but four offensive yards on that drive, the Niners seemed to forget how to play efficient football offensively.
A quad injury forced CMC out for most of the first half, but for the sake of all fantasy football rosters relying on McCaffrey, he did come back in the second half. But an uncharacteristic, two-INT showing from Brock Purdy bogged down the SF offense, and their lack of healthy pass catchers really showed in the loss.
6. Kansas City Chiefs (-3)
The Kansas City Chiefs looked like a shell of their undefeated start, as they failed to reach the end zone in their Sunday Night Football loss to the Seahawks. Patrick Mahomes was uncharacteristically rattled, frequently needing to abandon the pocket due to the pass rush, and Kenneth Walker III’s return to Lumen Field was not one that he will want to remember moving forward.
7. Denver Broncos (no change)
A strong showing from Bo Nix helped the Denver Broncos earn their fifth win of the year, a 30-16 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Nix threw for 222 yards and a score and ran for 73 yards and a touchdown on the ground, as Denver had a well-rounded performance, a much-needed showing from this team.
8. Detroit Lions (+2)
A game-winning field goal from Jake Bates as time expired helped the Detroit Lions earn their fourth win of the year, remaining undefeated at home. Jared Goff threw for 303 yards and two touchdowns in the win, with Jameson Williams catching both, and Amon-Ra St. Brown came out of the bye week strong, pulling in nine catches for 153 yards.
9. Seattle Seahawks (+5)
The Seattle Seahawks climb into the top 10 of the Week 8 NFL Power Rankings after their impressive Week 7 home win over the once-undefeated Chiefs, 20-3. While Jaxon Smith-Njigba was his dominant self (9/150/1), it is the SEA defense that earns MVP, as this unit kept Mahomes under lock and key all game.
10. Cleveland Browns (+1)
The Cleveland Browns now sit at 5-2 after their 27-24 win over the Tennessee Titans, and that is all thanks to Andre Szmyt’s game-winning field goal at the buzzer. The CLE offense was led by a two-touchdown showing from Quinshon Judkins and an eight-catch, 129-yard performance from rookie wideout KC Concepcion.
11. New England Patriots (-3)
A scoreless first quarter doomed the Patriots from the jump, as a six-point loss drops New England to 4-3 on the year. Drake Maye threw for 321 yards and two touchdowns, including a last-second score to Rhamondre Stevenson in one of the craziest endings to a half, but another abysmal showing from A.J. Brown (48 yards) made it tough for the NE passing attack to get going.
12. Cincinnati Bengals (+1)

Joe Burrow was on fire in Cincinnati’s Week 7 win over the Ravens, throwing four touchdowns and leading a second-half comeback that turned into a blowout. Burrow connected with Ja’Marr Chase, Mike Gesicki, Tee Higgins, and Drew Sample for touchdowns, and his connection with Higgins heated up in the second half, as Higgins recorded all six of his catches and 148 yards in the second half.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers (+5)
The Pittsburgh Steelers helped kick off the Sunday slate of Week 7 with a win in France, as a strong rushing attack and a lockdown defense helped slow down the Saints. A low-scoring 16-10 win by the Steelers feels perfectly in line for what was expected for a game in France, as PIT ran for 148 yards, led by 101 yards from Jaylen Warren.
The Steelers find themselves at 5-2 and tied with Cleveland atop the AFC North.
14. Baltimore Ravens (-5)
Tyler Huntley made one final start in place of Lamar Jackson, and although a 13-point first half looked nice, not scoring a single point in the second half didn’t. Connecting on a long touchdown with Zay Flowers helped get the Ravens on the board early, but two second-quarter field goals from Tyler Loop was all the Ravens earned the rest of the way, falling to 4-3 on the year.
15. Green Bay Packers (-3)
The number of chances that the Packers had to win their Week 7 matchup with the Lions is astronomical, and yet they continue to be their biggest opponent this season. Two missed field goals from Trey Smack, both chip shots, doomed Green Bay, even though the running game finally showed some signs of life with the return of Josh Jacobs.
16. Los Angeles Rams (no change)
A 35-21 win over the Las Vegas Raiders is exactly what the Los Angeles Rams needed to get back on the right track, and a balanced offensive attack is what Sean McVay needed to see. Three touchdowns from Matthew Stafford, a rushing touchdown each from Kyren Williams and Blake Corum, and a healthy Puka Nacua helped the Rams earn their third win of the year and their second on the road.
17. New York Giants (+2)
The J.J. McCarthy is off to a really good start for the New York Giants, as the former Vikings QB has had a hand in each of the past two NYG victories. McCarthy was given the nod to start in Week 7, throwing for 252 scoreless yards but playing turnover-free ball.
A game-winning touchdown scamper from Devin Singletary in overtime locked up the fourth win of the year for the Giants, as they continue to sit atop the NFC East division.
18. Atlanta Falcons (+7)
The 2026 NFL season remains an inefficient one for the Atlanta Falcons, but their Week 7 showing against the 49ers gives this franchise a glimmer of hope. A 29-20 upset home win over San Francisco was anchored not by Bijan Robinson, but by QB Michael Penix Jr., who threw for three touchdowns and played turnover-free football. Robinson was kept out of the end zone in the win, with Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Nick Muse catching TDs from Penix in the win.
19. Carolina Panthers (-4)
The Carolina Panthers still have a lot left to show this year if they want to head back to the postseason, and a 43-13 blowout loss at the hands of the Buccaneers doesn’t help. The offense struggled to move the ball all day and the defense forgot how to stop the Tampa offense, as they now sit at 3-3 on the year.
20. Las Vegas Raiders (-3)
A 295-yard, 2-TD showing from Kirk Cousins wasn’t enough for the Raiders in Week 7, as a 15-point fourth quarter was not enough to overcome a six-point first half. Las Vegas turned the ball over on downs three separate times in the loss, failed to establish the run (48 yards on 17 carries, and had too one-sided an offensive attack, resulting in their fourth loss of the year.
21. Philadelphia Eagles (Monday Night Football)
Tanner McKee gets another crack at the QB1 role for the Philadelphia Eagles, as he looks to be the guy leading the offense, as Jalen Hurts is out for the rest of the season. McKee has looked fine as the offensive orchestrator, and facing a beatable defense in the Cowboys could be what he needs to make a name for himself.
22. New Orleans Saints (-2)
Offensive struggles continue to make things difficult for the New Orleans Saints, as rushing for 18 total yards as a team just won’t get things done. Tyler Shough was an efficient 30/38 in the loss, throwing for 278 yards and a touchdown, but a costly interception when the Saints were driving in Pittsburgh territory ended up being the reason that they lost.
23. Dallas Cowboys (Monday Night Football)
Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys have a bounce-back opportunity right in front of them in Week 7, as their Monday Night Football matchup with the Eagles gives them a golden opportunity to earn a divisional win. It hasn’t been a strong showing so far this year for Prescott, but facing the Eagles does give him a good shot to put some of his early-season issues behind him.
24. Houston Texans (-2)
Article Continues BelowThe Houston offense took a step backward in Week 7, as C.J. Stroud failed to throw for 200 yards for the first time in almost a month. Nico Collins was never able to get going in the loss, only catching two passes for six yards in the loss.
25. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+4)
Apparently, the Buccaneers really needed Baker Mayfield back to jumpstart their offense, as their 43-point outburst is nine points more than they scored in each of their past two games. Mayfield’s return helped Tampa Bay earn its second win of the year, even though he only threw for 64 yards and a touchdown in the win.
Bucky Irving ran for two touchdowns, and the defense harassed Carolina all day, racking up five sacks, two interceptions, and returning a fumble for a touchdown.
26. New York Jets (no change)
It looks to be just another sub-par year for the New York Jets, as their 2026 season looks to be heading in the wrong direction already. A three-point loss to the Dolphins knocks the Jets to 2-5 on the year, as the seat for head coach Aaron Glenn continues to grow hotter and hotter with every loss.
27. Arizona Cardinals (no change)
Even with 111 receiving yards and a touchdown from Trey McBride on National Tight Ends Day, the Cardinals remain winless at home, dropping their Week 7 matchup to the Broncos. McBride was Jacoby Brissett’s favorite target once again, but needing 48 pass attempts after playing from behind most of the game is not an efficient way to run an offense.
28. Washington Commanders (Bye Week)
The Washington Commanders are on bye in Week 7, giving Jayden Daniels additional time to heal his left elbow. Things are a bit of a mess in Washington, especially with the season-ending injury to Terry McLaurin last week, as injuries continue to impact the Commanders offensively.
29. Indianapolis Colts (-4)
An inability to move the ball and string together consistent offensive drives continues to make things difficult for the Colts, as their Week 7 road loss to the Vikings makes it three in a row. Daniel Jones only threw for 108 yards and struggled mightily against the ferocious MIN pass rush, and outside of a strong run game, the IND offense was stuck in the mud once again.
30. Miami Dolphins (+2)

The 2026 Miami Dolphins are no longer the only team without a win, as they finally earned their first of the season in Week 7. A 28-25 win over the Jets was led by a clean showing offensively from Malik Willis and Ollie Gordon II; Willis threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns, and Gordon ran for 103 yards and a score, as Jeff Hafley finally has his first win as an NFL head coach.
31. Los Angeles Chargers (Bye Week)
Not quite sure what needs to happen for the Los Angeles Chargers, but nothing is going right for them this season. A Week 7 bye will hopefully give this team a chance to assess everything that has gone wrong, but even correcting things now won’t overcome their winless start through six games.
32. Tennessee Titans (-2)
A career day from Tony Pollard (129 yards, 3 TDs) wasn’t enough for the Titans to earn their first home win of the year, losing their fifth game in six chances. Quarterback play continues to bog down the TEN offense, as Cam Ward is continuing to not look like the long-term fit for the Titans, unfortunately, as he only threw for 181 scoreless yards in the loss. With their loss, the Titans find themselves moving into the basement of the Week 8 NFL Power Rankings.
