So many stars through the NBA have suffered significant injuries not even two weeks into the 2026-27 season. Tyrese Haliburton, Paolo Banchero, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Kawhi Leonard are among the many All-Stars on the injury report, but the two biggest names currently dealing with injuries that drastically changes the Western Conference are Jalen Williams and Anthony Edwards.
Williams recently underwent surgery for a fractured fibula and various ligament damage in his left ankle, and he is expected to miss the remainder of the season. In the same game Williams went down with his significant injury, the Oklahoma City Thunder also lost Cason Wallace to a torn labrum in his shoulder.
As for Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves, he recently underwent arthroscopic right knee surgery and will miss at least two months.
