The Kansas City Chiefs earned a 30-27 Week 4 win over the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday. Unfortunately, the team did not leave that contest unscathed, as the club lost both Rashee Rice and Tyquan Thornton to injury. Thornton's situation was rather gruesome, and head coach Andy Reid provided some information shortly after the game.
Reid informed media members that he at least expects the 26-year-old wide receiver to be back in Kansas City with the team soon, according to Matt Derrick of Chiefs Digest. The veteran head coach also admitted that Thornton's ankle is in bad shape, while also stating that Rice is dealing with a hamstring injury.
“Andy Reid says he expects WR Tyquan Thornton to back [in] Kansas City with the team but says the left ankle ‘doesn't look good,'” Derrick reported. “Chiefs WR Rashee Rice tweaked his hamstring, Reid says.”

However, after attempting to stand up and celebrate the play, Thornton quickly laid back down after seeing his left foot pointing in the completely wrong direction.
The former second-round pick ended Sunday's game as Patrick Mahomes' top target. Tyquan Thornton reeled in five receptions for 111 yards and two touchdowns off eight targets. It was an impressive outing up until the injury occurred.
