Boston Celtics veteran Paul George, who was at the center of a blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia 76ers for Jaylen Brown, is excited for the upcoming season. George was spotted at the Celtics' practice facility this summer, where he returned with a special message for Boston fans.

George can't wait for the 2026-27 season and reminded Celtics fans of how thrilled he is to join the NBA's most storied franchise.

“Hello, Boston. It's PG here. I'm super excited to be here,” Green said. “I can't wait to rep the green and represent Boston on my chest. Thank you, guys, for having me. I'm looking forward to the journey, and let's get to work soon.

George is joining the Celtics ahead of his 17th NBA season, as the nine-time All-Star joins forces with Jayson Tatum. For the first time in Tatum's career, he won't be playing alongside Brown, who he's shared the floor with for all nine seasons of his NBA career. George averaged 17.3 points on 43.9% shooting, including 39.2% from deep, 5.3 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.7 steals per game for the Sixers last season.
