The Arizona Cardinals have been a respectable team to start the Mike LaFleur era. Arizona may only be 1-3 on the season, but they played close games against San Francisco and New York in back-to-back games. However, that does not mean all is well in the desert. The Cardinals have been surrounded by Marvin Harrison Jr. trade rumors for weeks now.
If the Cardinals do decide to trade Harrison, the betting market points to a few clear favorites as landing spots.
According to BetOnline, the Colts (+300), Chiefs (+400), and Raiders (+500) have the best odds to land Harrison if he ends up joining a new team, likely via trade.
Harrison had an incredible collegiate career at Ohio State and entered the NFL with huge expectations. After all, he has both a pristine resume and awesome NFL pedigree on his side. That could make other teams view Harrison as more of a high variance reclamation project than just a draft bust.
Each of those three teams with the best betting odds to land Harrison have a huge need at wide receiver.
The Chiefs entered the season pretty thin at wide receiver. But Tyquan Thornton's gruesome Week 4 injury opened a spot on the roster, and Rashee Rice is also dealing with a hamstring issue. There is plenty of talk about a potential Tyreek Hill reunion in Kansas City. But Harrison could also be in the mix if the Chiefs decide to go shopping.
Meanwhile, the Colts are in a similar boat with Alec Pierce on injured reserve. Indy's offense could certainly use a boost, and who better than Harrison to provide it? After all, his father created a legacy with Peyton Manning that fans still rave about.
Article Continues BelowFinally there's the Raiders. Vegas started the season surprisingly hot at 3-1 and could use one final piece on offense. Their receiver room is extremely thin, so someone like Harrison would immediately get plenty of opportunities. There's also the possibility that a change in coaching could get more out of him.
It will be fascinating to see if Arizona pulls the trigger on a trade before the November 10th trade deadline.
Cardinals vs. Lions kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on Oct. 11.
