The Arizona Cardinals were one of the charter members of the NFL. And from the Racine Cardinals to the Chicago Cardinals to the St. Louis Cardinals to the Phoenix Cardinals to the Arizona Cardinals, they’ve never lost nine straight home games.
A loss later today to the Lions will be the first time in franchise history that the Cardinals have lost nine straight home games.
They’ve previously lost eight in a row from 1942 through 1945 (at Comiskey Park) from 1958 through 1958 (also at Comiskey Park) and from 2021-22, in their current home venue.
The Cardinals last won at home on September 14, 2025, with a 27-22 victory over the Panthers. The streak began on Thursday, September 25, in a loss to the Seahawks.
