The Bears hope to have Caleb Williams back for Sunday’s game against the Falcons.

Williams has missed the past three games due to a hamstring injury.

“He’s doing a great job progressing, and we’ll see when we can make him available to help us win ball games,” coach Ben Johnson said, via Courtney Cronin of ESPN. “But he’s itching to get back as soon as he can, which is a good thing, and when we get the green light, we’ll move forward from there.”

Johnson said the Bears have not determined who will take first-team snaps at Wednesday’s practice or who will start if it’s not Williams. Case Keenum replaced Tyson Bagent late in Sunday’s loss to the Packers. The two quarterbacks combined for no touchdowns and three interceptions.

“There are a lot of things that we’re assessing right now,” Johnson said.

He added that he believes the Bears have “three guys that can win games in this league.”
