The Milwaukee Bucks will look like a completely different team than they have in years past, and it looks like they're heading toward a youth movement under head coach Taylor Jenkins. With less than a week before opening week, the Bucks are in a bit of a roster crunch, and they're going to have to make some moves to get to 15 players.

According to NBA insider Jake Fischer, there's one player who they want to keep throughout the chaos, and they have two players in mind as far as trading to make sure he's on the roster.

“The above proposed Lakers/Bucks swap would have helped Milwaukee's own roster crunch,” Fischer wrote. “Sources say that the Bucks have weighed potential deals involving veterans Caris LeVert and Kevin Porter Jr., in addition to possible Sims trades, to avoid simply releasing players under contract.

“The Bucks want to find a way to keep forward Pete Nance, sources say, but know they could lose him to another team if they decided to waive him in the hope of then signing him to a two-way contract.”

Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported earlier that LeVert could be on the outside looking in when evaluating the Bucks' roster cuts.

“The bigger name to focus on in the roster crunch surrounds veteran guard Caris LeVert. Unless the Bucks find a trade for him, Kyle Kuzma, or another aging veteran, LeVert may end up being the odd man out in Milwaukee,” Siegel wrote.

If LeVert does end up getting traded, it wouldn't be a surprise if he played a key part on the team he's going to. He's a veteran in this league and can offer scoring off the bench, similar to what he did with the Detroit Pistons last season.

It'll be interesting to see what the Bucks do as the season approaches.
