The Cleveland Browns are currently gearing up for Sunday's road game vs the Tennessee Titans. The Browns enter this game as arguably the biggest success story in the NFL so far this season, sitting at 4-2 and first place in the AFC North.
The Browns still are the subject of trade rumors regarding multiple players, including wide receiver Jerry Jeudy, and on Sunday, the team got the latest update on that front.
“With Cleveland in the postseason mix and Jeudy maintaining a good attitude despite the emergence of rookies KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston at wide receiver, sources say his chances of being traded is viewed as less likely,” reported Ian Rapoport and Adam Schefter on ESPN.com.
“The Browns aren't shopping Jeudy at all, and the price is high. It would take a premium deal to get Cleveland to move on — even if general manager Andrew Berry is open to discussing any deal.”
Jeudy made some big plays down the stretch of Cleveland's most recent win last week over the Baltimore Ravens and has enjoyed a bit of a resurgence over the last couple of years after a relatively disappointing start to his career.
Article Continues BelowIt's certainly understandable that the Browns would be hesitant to shake things up amid their hot start under first-year head coach Todd Monken, especially considering that Jeudy and some of the other Cleveland wide receivers seem to have already established a good rapport with quarterback Deshaun Watson.
In any case, the Browns will next hit the field on Sunday vs the Titans at 1:00 pm ET from Nashville.
