In this Brawl Stars Vince guide, we'll take a look at his attacks, stats, and skills and create the best build possible. Vince is a long-range brawler with an interesting Super that becomes more powerful if he collects enough bugs. Without further ado, let's take a look at Vince.

Brawl Stars Vince Guide – Attacks & Stats Per Level

Firstly, let's discuss Vince's Trait, which allows caterpillars to spawn near him on the map. A Caterpillar spawns once every few seconds, with up to five being able to spawn at once. Vince can collect these Caterpillars by launching his attack at them, or by walking on them. These caterpillars then become part of his moth collection.

Overall, Vince can collect up to 99 total caterpillars, but each death loses him 50% of his current collection. Furthermore, these caterpillars may not be destroyed, do not de-spawn, and are unique to each Vince on the battlefield. Therefore, a Vince cannot use the caterpillars created for a teammate or enemy.

Why does all this matter? Because Vince's moth collection impacts his Super.

But first let's go over his main attack, Espresso Shot. This is a long-range attack in which deals decent damage, but does not pierce or have any special effects.

Vince's Super, Barista Barrage, is a move that has different effects based on how many Moths Vince has. Essentially, the more moths he has, the stronger his Super becomes. Each stage possesses the same bonuses as the ones before it.

  • Stage 1 (1-4 moths) – Fires a single projectile that deals damage, debuffs the enemy briefly, and makes the enemy receive more damage from Vince's attack for a short moment. The amount of moths Vince has slightly increases the damage for his Super. Furthermore, the attack does pierce enemies.
  • Stage 2 (5-9 moths) – Fires two additional projectiles and each hit reloads one ammo.
  • Stage 3 (10-19 moths) – Fires two more projectiles (5 total) and now bounces towards nearby enemies to increase chance of contact
  • Stage 4 (20+ moths) – Fires seven total projectiles and now slow enemies it hits.

At Stage 4, Vince's Super can deal damage, cause a debuff, increase the amount of damage they, reload some of his ammo, bounce towards enemies, and even slow them down. While extremely powerful, reaching Stage 4 of this move would require a lot of skill to pull off.

Additionally, Mr. P's Hypercharge, Super Porters Assemble, allows the base to spawn up to two porters at a time with increased stats.

Lastly, let's look at Vince's Stats: (as of October 2026, all stats subject to change):

Brawl Stars Vince Guide – Which Star Powers & Gadgets are the best?

Overall, Vince has two gadgets:

  • Hot Coffee – “Vince throws an explosive cappuccino, dealing area damage.”
  • Metamothosis – “Vince turns all nearby caterpillars into moths, gaining an additional moth for each collected.”

Additionally, Vince has two Star Powers:

  • Come to Papa – “Nearby caterpillars crawl towards Vince.”
  • Bug Bandage – “Turning a caterpillar into a moth heals Vince.”

Furthermore, Vince can use the following gears in battle:

  • Speed
  • Vision
  • Health
  • Shield
  • Damage
  • Gadget Cooldown

*We are not including any Epic or Mythic Gears in any of these guides.

Brawl Stars Vince Guide – Recommended Star Power, Gadget, & Gear Setup

Firstly, for Gadgets, we prefer Hot Coffee since it basically adds an extra damaging attack for Vince to use. Vince deals pretty solid damage, but he may need to add another damaging attack to keep himself alive. Metamothosis isn't really necessary if you use Come to Papa.

Secondly, for Star Powers, we like both, but Come to Papa may make it easier to collect moths. Bug Bandage is great for healing, but if you can let your caterpillars crawl toward you, Vince may not need to play so riskily and take unnecessary damage. However, if you prefer a more aggressive play style, Bug Bandage may work out better for you.

Lastly, for Gears, we recommend a Damage and Shield Gear. We tend to recommend these Gears for most brawlers as they help keep you alive longer and deal more damage when in a pinch.

Brawl Stars – Which Modes Should You Use Vince in (And Which Modes You Shouldn't)

Article Continues Below

Bounty/Knockout/Wipeout

With his long range attack, Vince can basically stand back, collect Caterpillars, and snipe enemies from afar. The stronger his Super, the easier it'll be to hit enemies and reap the benefits of his better stages. He also boasts a decent health pool capable of taking a few hits.

Duo/Trio Showdown

Vince's Super can pierce boxes and damage enemies, and his long range helps him keep his distance. However, he needs to be in a team composition that includes a tank/short-range powerhouse. Vince may struggle when in the center of the map by himself.

Brawl Stars Vince Guide – What Mode(s) Should I NOT Use Vince In?

Heist

Vince's main attack reloads too slowly to be impactful in Heist. By the time he gathers enough moths, the match may already be over. Overall, pick someone else who can deal more damage right out the gate.

Gem Grab

Overall, Vince isn't terrible in this mode. However, he has no method of escaping enemies if he gets the gems. However, his super may be useful in damaging multiple enemies at once. But this would mean that Vince would have to constantly worry about avoiding death and increasing his moth count.

Overall, that wraps up our Brawl Stars Vince Guide!
